Welcome to Sun Herald Newspapers In Education!!!

Newspapers in Education is a cooperative effort of newspapers working with local schools to encourage the use of the newspaper as a tool for instruction and to promote literacy. Under the program, the Sun Herald and local businesses and residents sponsor newspapers--digital editions and print editions--for teachers to use in their classrooms. NIE teachers also receive curriculum ideas, teaching materials, special supplements, newsletters, training opportunities and more.

Educational. Your Sun Herald Newspapers In Education subscription includes other free educational content, such as Online Lessons, Political Cartoons, and Educational Links.
Efficient. One order provides access to the Sun Herald seven days a week and to every Sun Herald Newspapers In Education program for that semester.
Easy-to-Use. Search by keywords and print what's applicable to your lesson plans. Once student supplements and teacher guides are put online, they're available to you through the end of the current semester.
Edgy. Sun Herald NIE reaches students where they live-in an increasingly digital world.
